Please excuse our blogging absence... We've been adjusting to two new baby boys around here! On July 28th, Allison and Will welcomed baby "Finn" into the world, and he could not be more precious! They are overjoyed watching him grow and learn everyday. Here are some pictures of handsome Finn - the first two were taken when he was a month old and the last is from this past week.

Finn and Oliver can't wait to be best buds.  Thanks be to God!

We loved creating the invitations & paper details for Whitney & Don to help pull off their lovely vision of rustic elegance in the hill country. With the fun calligraphy of our good friend Daley (Daley Ann), the letterpressed invitations with pops of vibrant color, & the coordinating signs & tags at the event came together perfectly.

So, we're excited that the whole celebration was featured yesterday on one of our favorite wedding blogs - Style Me Pretty.

Weddings in Houston

Well, it has been a good long while since we've updated the blog. We've been busy creating new wedding suites & goodies. We wish we could show you everything - at some point, we will!

But, for now, we'll leave you with this: one of our suites is featured in the 25th anniversary issue of Weddings in Houston, February edition, among some other talented Houston vendors.

Remember those gorgeous photos that we shared of Bailey & Nathan's wedding a couple of months ago? Well, D Weddings featured their big day in their September issue - so, our ceremony program made the cut. The invitations were created by the ever-so-lovely Rifle Paper Co., and our kraft paper accordion programs (bottom left) fit right in.

Libby & I were so excited and honored to partner with our floral friends at Stems of Dallas to create a table for the 2011 Kappa Tablescapes event this week. The event benefits community non-profits, and we were thrilled to be a part of the stellar group of designers, florists and event planners who participated.

I am also fascinated by this english countryside wedding. Its like a modern-day version of the wedding of Mr. Darcy and Elizabeth Bennet. Pretty idyllic. Amazing photos.

I know that this is a few days late, but Libby and I were both out of town for Independence Day (out of the country, no less).... I just saw this cute Lauren Moffatt dress, and I have to say that this might be the cutest 4th of July dress I've ever seen. Parades, fireworks, bbq's and all, this dress would be perfect.

Libby + Ben in The Knot!

Libby & Ben's stunning wedding (which took place exactly one year ago - Happy Anniversary!) is featured in this month's The Knot magazine AND online!

As her friend and business partner, I can brag on her for just a minute - Libby has such a good eye for beautiful and extraordinary details. Think soft, peachy flowers in vintage bottles atop rustic wood disks, old-timey suspenders, airy poms delicately strung behind the alter, wooden ceremony programs, invitations delivered in hand-stamped burlap pouches and a get-you-off-your-feet fun band perched on a dance floor overlooking the lake. Basically, it was a night to remember.

We had the pleasure of creating an out-of-the-ordinary wedding program for Bailey and Nathan, a sweet couple with a definite eye for modern vintage style. Their invitation suite was by the famed Anna Bond of Rifle Paper Co., so we were thrilled to step in for the program. 

Katie Norris of Katie Norris Portrait Arts let us use some of her photos to showcase this fantastic wedding. How beautifully this wedding came together!
